Pro move editing your post after I showed the tracert where i cant see interoute from "Run the tracert and post it please" to an explanation that you really have no control and blaming telkom.
Im going for a smoke. Guess your waiting for me to log off now or something stupid. Lets see.
Please Sillicur I can understand your frustration, but let's not get petty - I've been nothing but honest with you from day 1, why would I suddenly try to mislead you? I edited my post directly after hitting enter as I felt it needed more explanation. You're right I don't see interroute, but you are going via Seacom.

See wherever it says vic - that's our Data Centre in Victory Park and then on to midrand to link up with Seacom via Neotel. It looks like the upstream routes in the UK have changed from interroute, which is something I wasn't aware had been implemented already.
Apologies for that bit of confusion but you are routing North.
Also just to clarify - I'm not trying to shift any blame to Telkom, just explaining to you how we make the split so that you can understand it.
ADSL users all meet at common points on the Telkom network called Edge Service Routers, it's at that level that we segment our network and make decisions about routing our customers North or South, based on the location of the ESR.
