Will, I will check tonight, last night everything went south. I am at work now and as soon as I checked it out tonight I will give feedback. Yesterday, everything was fine, until the authentication issues came up, after that was fixed we could browse on the web but not game......specifically WoW, other games like COD was fine-ish.

I don't think those two issues would have been related Piet. Also My tester was on from about 15h45 and only reported having problems from just before 18h00, which was some time after the authentication issue had been resolved already.

yeah, don't think so either but the previous night it worked if I'm correct (no issues), today around 1 PM everything was still fine from what i was told by my friend, I get off @ work @ 4 PM so will check when I get home, and then if all is good I will post and then post again 6 PM-ish to let you know if its still good or not.
 
The mad latency persists. My WOW players have given up and have resorted to playing Runescape. Hope MWeb can fix this problem.
 
OK, Will, from the info i gather it seems that whole day our latency was not the "best" but it ranged between 250-400 (which is fine). I live in Durbanville, CT, i will check in again on the forums in about 2 hours time, to provide an update. Currently in game my ping is 313MS (WoW Specific).

I use a Mweb uncapped account (normal shaped one)
 
Yeh will, me and 2 of my friends have latency issues on mweb, only after 6 till very late. Havent stayed awake late enough to check, was still unplayable at 4am
During the day its fine for all of us.
 
Hi Will, New update on this issue...

06:03 PM it all went to S$%T. Ping is sky high 8000MS(friends Latency) in wow....

it shows i have a 1000 ping now, but i do not think that can be true when the all i see is a frozen screen and then 20 secs later it all comes alive again

WoW at about 6:15pm was unplayable on mweb, ended up switching accounts.
 
guess its time to go to IS Gold......coz no1 is here to answer us or just give feedback...
 
Will, sent u the tracerts with telkom and mweb after 6, using and without using a tunneling service.

Hope we can get this sorted out :)

The exact same thing happened to me in Guild Wars, shortly after 6pm the latency just started spiking like crazy. It was perfectly fine before then.

Piet I understand the frustration, but please hang in there. Issues like this are not always straight forward to pin down and we are making a concerted effort to understand the problem so that we can address it. I have someone testing WoW on an unshaped account this weekend as well so we can determine for certain whether this is a shaping, or a routing issue.

this morning my mweb account is dead, seems like on the facebook page they talk about DNS issues :(
 
Yup 100% dead now. Posting on a telkom account. What facebook page :) Any way to fix it yet?
 
I gave up on gaming on mweb, been having bad latency at night for months now. Only way to solve it is to get an unshaped account to play with which works fine. (Axxess unshaped light)

Axxess sucks camel balls, poor customer care and they throttle the Shyte out of their accounts. Won't make that mistake again. In that case I'd rather wait for MWeb to sort out this mess or use SAIX for gaming in the meantime....
