Important. Just saw this post on the WTfast technical forums. Was always weird for me that battleping works and wtfast doesnt. Battleping somehow circumvents the bad latency.
"Another possibility if you experience latency/spikes during situations when alot of bandwidth is being pushed is that your Internet provider might be limiting traffic on port 10801, this is the port that WTFast uses. We recommend contacting your Internet provider and asking them if they are restricting traffic on port 10801, and to make sure your firewall settings are also allowing the traffic. Examples of situations where you might push lots of bandwidth is in big raids or major PvP battles."
