4-5 day left, fix it or lose allot of customers. Hopefully mweb has a "reason for leaving us" thing when you cancel. Oh boy got stories to tell.
I know its not a problem that can be solved easily, thats why you had a month and a half. Your network team had a month and a half. Did you ever even do what Tinuva said? I doubt it. I agree with what Vaughan42 said, you actually have the answer and the right protocalls or w/e right there with you. Something changes at 6pm every weekday. Thats your answer. I know im oversimplifying it, but you have a whole god damn network team, which either dont know how to do their job or they arent actually working on it and your just trying to keep the customers on a line as long as possible.
Some questions: Why does the connection go bad AFTER peak times are over (6pm on weekdays)?
Why does the MTU setting make such a huge difference?
Why was some tunneling services Ports shaped 2-3 days after talking about them here. Port 10800 was working wonderfully well on WTFast tunneling service. A day after I talked about it here, it got basically destroyed. Still not working again. It wasnt an issue from the tunneling service because only their few Mweb users were experiencing it. They gave us a test setting/port which im too afraid to name so i never did. (coincidence or not)?
TELKOM HAS LESS PROBLEMS THAN MWEB. Just think about it, TELKOM.
So I guess what im saying is, Will, you should be able to answer these questions (real answers not just were looking into it) by now cause you had enough time, if this was any first world country with allot of good ISP options and competition the whole MWEB would have gone down, the only reason its not is because people in SA are actually so used to bad service that this is nothing new.
