MWEB Gaming Feedback

after a solid week of decent latency, its gone to rubbish now. typical mweb weekend syndrome
 
Also had bad latency last night. Kept spiking to 1k or 1.5k every ten seconds. Switching to my backup account once again solved the problem. Going to cancel this coming week. Will have to endure another month of it though.
 
Had bad latency spikes last night as well, but I was in a 25 man Raid. :( Dungeons were fine.
 
I can't even connect to WoW today on Mweb. Tried a normal connection and through WTFast, I connect but as soon as a character is loading I get disconnected.
WebAfrica seems to work great though today.
 
Battlefield is back to normal for me since last night. Getting 80-120ms even with torrents running at nearly full speed.

Also, Steam seems to be launching instantly even with torrents running. Used to take about 10 minutes for it to launch if I had torrents running. Same goes for games. Hope it stays this way.

i played on the rush hardcore igame server.i was having random lag spikes and the game was very sluggish.
 
my net has gone balls up on everything gaming and surfing wow latency went up at 6pm surfing slowed down at the around the same time and been spiking ever since

Hi Deadcore

Can you provide an comparison data, in terms of playing on another server or account and have you checked your network conditions (command line latency and traces) at the time you experienced the problem?

Hi avert, please could you give us an indication of what games you had this problem in and if any troubleshooting has been done to determine the source of the problem?

Other servers also give lag spikes.checked it on my old telkom account and it ran fine until my cap ran out.other people on the server who were with mweb had lag spikes exactly the same time as me where the ping would stay at around 200-300 for about 20sec.
 
Am i blessed or something ?? ... no wtfast , 4meg mweb uncapped. Living in Capetown, Southern suburbs . when i log in i get 500 world and then in about 5 min its down to 175 on world and realm and it stayed there. and thats any day of the week.


...Will if you find out you made some mistake with my account .... and i shouldn't be getting these latency's ..... forget you read this post. : )

i get about the same ,its normal , normally if everything works etc, i only used backup account twice for raiding , one i mweb lost international connectivity for 5min, and other time was just bad day :P
 
Hi, I play world of tanks on the EU server, I usually get 280 odd ping but the past 2 weeks or so I am getting crazy pings like 400 odd with alot of packet loss, anyone else got this issue, I got telkom to test my line, results and noise levels ok, they even did a port reset but no improvement, only thing left is Mweb?
 
WTFast error when attempting to login: "Access denied. Your subscription does not allow to access with this IP"

Yet last night was fine. The only thing that has changed in this whole process of logging in is the difference in time. Something, therefore, is up with MWEB.
 
Same issue tonight again that I had over the weekend, launch WTFast, run game, login fine and as soon as the realm starts loading WTFFast dies. Also looses connection to the wow server on an mweb account without using wtFast. Webafrica is running fine with nice low latency.

Same problem here. Mweb please fix the god damn lag.
