MWEB Gaming Feedback

Mweb have been a stellar performer in the past with regards to wow, the last month i have been using them its been fantastic, disappointed that this is how it ended up.

No point in paying for a service when i cant use it for the primary reason i have internet (gaming). Glad i didnt take that 6 month contract deal, that would have sucked.

time to hand in my cancellation.
 
Why was this not escalated/investigated yesterday when we were suffering the exact same issues? If the problem was "resolved" yesterday as your telephonic agents and the manager Michelle on duty claim, surely you already have an indication of the issue and its resolution.

Also, if this is a related to the problem experienced yesterday, can you confirm that after 24 hours you have no reasonable thought on what might be causing this?

Please provide a more informative response.

Hi Will, just to let you know that guys in the UK have had the same thing going on for the past 2 weeks so it not only us and its nice to see that you are trying to sort it out. As we no the wow sometimes change the way they send the data, and the Mweb severs dont see it like it was. As its the p2p way.
 
Guess its only going to be solved on monday at the earliest .......

Just cant figure it out why would you shape ports at 19:00, i understand the logic of shaping during the day but 19:00.........
 
removed the dsl part from mweb login and it loaded :)
its still unplayable have 2000+ ms, but at least it loaded ..........
 
Right guys, what iv done is play with the route abit and looks like iv got it to work, when you log into your router put it on to @tiscali.co.za and save config witch if will flash it then restart the router. Hope this works for you guys.
 
Ja we paying for a Business account static ip the works. R2K and my gaming is not working what total BS. This is unshaped etc and my gaming is not working. I though on unshaped everything get the same priority. Please don't tell us it's unshaped when some stuff is not working. Please just fix your peace of crap network and stop trying to take the innocent card. I'm getting so pissed off at MWEB. Openweb will give me so much better service at a little bit extra. At least my gaming doesn't suffer.

The worst is MWEB is hosting black ops but have the most issues with connecting to the master servers. Why does other isps work so good at gaming and you not. Means you keep on effing up the network. Also to many customers using the network now we suffer. Please don't try to have to many new stuff just try to get the adsl ready for at least 2 years then you can start thinking of making everything better.
 
What is going on??!!!. Now WoW is not working during the day, loads to 90% then stops. Why Mweb why?
 
Oh for the love of all that is holy!!!! MWEB please................are you just happy to take our money and leave it at that? Can you not just fix it once and leave it at that?:confused:
 
ja please cause my gaming is nr1 priority on my adsl services. Not working on my business adsl and home adsl. so please fix it asap
 
ja TelkomADSL is still the best. They give like better speeds than any other isp and hardly ever goes down. I mean if Telkom goes down it's like big news in sa. With Telkom adsl not one issue regarding gaming. Only issue is MWEB that doesn't peer with Telkom.

Mweb wants everything for free but giving bad service. Can't you just grow a pair and just accept telkom will never do it for free. Telkom is better than MWEB ATM. I can see than MWEB is trying to avoid us Cause there is really issues. As soonas it's fixed they will tell us no everything is fine on their side. What a bnch of idiots. If I get one more issue tomorrow I'm leaving MWEB. Openweb will be glad to have people like me there and I'm sure I will be happy cause they have better service than mweb. Mweb is just trying to make stuff cheaper.

Same here, progress bar reaches 90% and then stops. Torrents and general speed seems fine. I'm also unable to log into WTFast.
 
I can't log onto WTFast for some reason. I get the error message:

Internet connection error (Web: ConnectFailure). Please check your connection and try again.
Unable to connect to remote server


MWEB is blocking the WTFast logon server's IP?

Edit: Nevermind. I get the same error on other ISP accounts.

its MWEB. just tried smoothping with wow and works. unfortunately theres a cost to it. MWEB is not supplying us the services we paying for. With the new consumer protection act, i plan to take this further.
