I'd like some transparency from you guys regarding what the problem in and an eta on fixing it

Don't think they realise that alot of the frustration taken out on the reps is due to the secrecy they surround their troubleshooting process with. If they were open about a problem and gave regular updates most people would be happy, but instead they remain silent, responding to those posts they have an immediate solution for.
 
Here is an update from our monitoring the situation for you MWEB.........still broken and it would be, want to know why......cos no one is fixing the problem :mad:
 
I had the same 90% loading screen problem of Friday from about 20:00, on Saturday from about 20:00, and today already from 15:00.
Three days in a row the same problem, and every time it was not working for several hours. That is why I don't think they actually know what the problem is, because if they knew, and had fixed it the previous days, it would not be happening again.
Because of my crappy Telkom exchange, weekends are the only time when my internet is semi usable for online gaming, and now this happens. Thanks alot Mweb.
 
started again for me, was fine for the last 45min since i logged on.
Swopped char and hanging at 90% again ........
 
Suggest you buy an axxess account, wow is unplayable after 8:00 it seems.
R69 for 1 gig and its instant..... at least i can play
Think at the end of the month gonna start shopping around for a new ISP if its not solved soon.
 
Guys pls can you take a look at STO again. I don't mean this horribly, but do you have to lower the service level of one game, to fix another?

EDIT: Forget to say why :o I am not able to log into the game with any of my characters....
 
I've also had the 90% load problem since Friday evening.

Patiently tried removing Cache, Interface and WTF folders - still no logon.

Used with AxxessLite, no problem there.

It is pretty obvious that the issue lies with the ISP - Virgin Media for UK or MWEB for SA.
I understand, it is Sunday evening so nothing will get fixed. Tomorrow, please pull finger out the naughts and get on to it. Also this better not take 2 months to sort out. Again.
 
My WoW is dead. This daily routine is becoming like a late night soap opera -_-...
 
Getting really frustrated with this. Third night in a row, with the problem starting and ending at the same time. My guild is also getting fed up with my disconnecting during raids. I'm not trying to blame anyone, I'd just love a response along the lines of, "We're trying to locate the issue" or "The issue isn't on our side" from Mweb. Just some clarification would be nice.

Ive been asking for an answer since friday and they given me no real feedback other than "Keep me informed".
Everytime anyone asks a question related to the problem it either gets ignored or they say they working on finding the problem.
Dont see how they havnt found the problem since its been going on for almost a week for some of us.

Im really starting to think about another ISP because ive only been with Mweb for just over a month and the number of problems is crazy. They even cut me off for not paying my first installment when their accounts department fialed to take the debit order.

Im really starting to believe that Telkom is the best ISP atm since i never hear from my friends complaining of these problems.

I got a 4meg account and atm i cant even get 384k speeds out of it.

Someone mentioned some HelloPeter thing and im actually thinking of checking it out and seeing what the site is all about and if they can help us deal with this Mweb problem.
 
I didnt have any gaming problems the whole weekend, Xbox live was running like a dream
 
On my MWEB account I had the loading issues on WoW last night .... very frustrating. The whole raid was waiting for me every time i zoned into the instance or if we wiped and i released.

Changed to my Telkom account and absolutely no issues at all. I wonder if this could be ISP related........ YES!
 
Hi MWEB guy,

This whole story going to be sorted out today or are you encouraging us to seek out an alternative ISP?

This issue does not seem to be taken seriously by MWEB as the issue still persists. Could you please let us know what the plan of action is and inform us of an expected time frame for resolving this problem.
