Mweb international down ?

Try clearing your dns cache.

On windows, go
Start
Run
then type ipconfig /flushdns
press enter
reboot your pc
and try again

Also switch off your router, wait 30 seconds, then switch on again

Didn't have to change anything it is working again :D

*le bump*

This morning I can only access microsoft.com

news24.co.za, theregister.co.uk, myadsl.co.za as well as mweb.co.za is inaccessible. Not just one PC, more than one PC is showing the same symptoms.

Any problems?

Good Morning The_Librarian

We have no outages on our network at the moment.

Have you tried resetting your router as yet?

I'm having a similar problem on my Afrihost account. Can't load some sites at all. Alertra says they're up. Traceroute shows big delays at ip.isnet.net.

I need a backup ADSL account. This is just BS.

Please provide me pings and tracers to the websites that are not working.

:o Seems it is the firewall which's acting up. I will have to do a reinstall and see if it resolves the issue.

If not, then I'll provide the information as requested.

Bleh. This is the third child of trouble.

Just switched to my 8ta account and that was working fine for a while but now also having problems there. Oh crap... Just when I needed to do some serious work today.

Dammit, I thought I had changed connection, but the IS account was still active. TOO MUCH TECHNOLOGY MAKES YOU STUPID!!!

Thanks for the feedback, hope the reinstall sorts the problem.

I'm having the same issue browsing websites from Hostgator in the USA. I have tested on two different ISP's. I contacted Hostgator and they said using a trace-route back to my IP that they loose the connection or that it dies once it hits my ISP here.

They also mentioned something about servers in Europe being problematic
