We have our reasons though, and will properly announce it to everyone when the time is right on our side.

If you'd really like to know, we are running it largely unannounced to ascertain how much we can save our customers on top-ups by adding additional gigs on the cap sizes. If we announce it, people change behaviour, and it's then not useful data...

I'm on a 4mb uncapped premium account @ R539/pm. After checking my usage over the last year I am clearly an idiot at mostly 40-80gb / pm usage considering the above.

I also have 50gb from telkom as back up but that hardly ever gets used, just a bit.

Also moving to a vdsl area and was considering upgrading, maybe time to call mweb
