MWeb News server and P2P speed Issues

They're supposed to be increasing thier international capacity by 50% shortly, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Even on the unshaped accounts I've started noticing slowdowns and hiccups, both with browsing and NNTP.

On Mweb 384, ..p2p even after hours has been mostly 0-5 kbps, maybe two or three times a month I'll get full speed for a few hours on the weekend ..Oh well.

Any reason why you guys don't use file hosters?

Because that is seen as by passing the shaping and in breach of T&C

Um. capped in SA has become a joke and even more of a joke taking in account that more and more of us have 10 meg lines.

What even makes me more sick is that uk uncapped packages cost as little as 15 pounds, oh F@ck wait a minutes we are the only country as far as I know that have capped limited accounts. Most country's have uncapped.

But please please if you want to beat the bastards then google open vpn
