At this point everybody has peered except SAIX. There you go. Nice and easy.

Yep ,even MTn are peered as far as I know, unless they're on a SAIX backbone. WebAfrica were working on peering in JHB ages ago. That should be finished by now too.

You know, telkom/saix know open peering is better, they just like getting off on being spiteful to the country. They just 'want' to piss everyone off.

Not that nice and easy.
Seems there is a couple of ISP's that have not peered...
There are a small number of the smaller ISPs that only use upstream from SAIX and do not engage in any peering who won't be peered with MWeb. Every single major ISP (besides SAIX) is either peered with Mweb or downstream of another ISP that has peering with Mweb.

Please don't confuse ISP's with resellers. EVERY Tier 1 in SA peers with MWEB except SAIX. There very few remaining SAIX resellers due to their astronomical prices.

One can safely assume Telkom and smaller ISP's are the only ones not peering with Mweb?

To be safe, the larger ISP's have peered and the smaller one's that sell SAIX bandwidth, have not.

Is there a major difference between SAIX and IS accounts? Apart from the peering.
