Hi,
So yesterday i received my range extender, i tried to follow the instructions but i'm not getting it right.
1. They say i must turn on the Range extender and wait 1 minute for the Wifi light to tun on, mine does not tun on, it flickers every now and again, but its never constantly on, this was less than 1m from the actual router.
2.If the now and again flickering is whats suppose to happen, then the actual parring is not working, I press the WPA button on the router, the light goes orange, i press it on the extender and nothing happens, then after a minute or so the orange light begins to flicker on the router and then goes away entirely.
3.I can see Mweb_Ext when i search for wifi signals, when i try to connect to it, it asks me for a password?, what exactly is the password?, i have tried my router pass key, but that does not work
4.i have tried connecting it via a network cable, but still cannot log into 192.168.2.1 or 2.2

What am i doing wrong?

connect the extender directly to pc and log in to it. You can then check/change the wifi password.

EDIT

I see you tried that... it should work hey..mind did. Maybe yours is faulty..

Hi Lament

Would you mind to drop me a PM with your contact details.
I would like to try and arrange for a specialist to contact you over the weekend sometime to address this.
If needed they may arrange for the device to be swopped out.
