Sponsorship You're giving them the server by the looks of it, for free... Not saying you knew it was an illegal server, but defending it when you now do isn't right. The very least you should remove your sponsorship, then I agree you have no say in what they do with the server.

I wasn't going to do anything but give him **** for this until he mentioned the sponsorship, you should know better Mweb.

His "Thor Pack" contains enchanted items and armour, not purely cosmetic(http://www.nukecraft.net/forums/m/22324100/viewthread/17214337-thor-items/post/last#last) unfortunately store is down so can't see what else they are selling...

All a moot point as Mojang is involved as well with the site/server owners details.

Firstly well done with your "successful" but useless research, that twitter profile does not belong to me, my name is not Deon nor do i own a company call dedesign. I just matriculated.

Please do yourself a favor before making yourself look more like an idiot and read the new mojang EULA which we comply with 100%, there is no web store on our website, nor are we committing piracy. Mojang wouldn't have put an offline mode in the server properties if it was so "illegal".

Considering you have so much time to sit and argue over a PC game, call oceanhost and speak to Martin.


Maybe SAPS should employ you as a head investigator, you seem quite good at what you do with stalking and investigating others!

Huh? Why? The fact that Mweb has now prevented the cracked clients from connecting surely shows they admit fault and have rectified it. I'm happy, the server owners are now deflecting onto other gripes I have with them that have nothing to do with Mweb.

Mweb good, these two not so much

As for Oceanhost all I could get out of him was:
"its not in my name you welcome to message or phone oceanhost & ask for martin and he will confim"
However my lunch is almost over so I cannot confirm this.

The server also sells in game items which is completely against Mojangs License Agreement. I have reported all this to Mojang so I'm presuming the site will be getting a cease and desist letter in short order.

So Mweb and Oceanhost, now that this is fairly high up the google page ranking, what do you have to say about sponsoring a server that allows illegally cracked copies of a game to run on it?

One final pearl of wisdom from adam_g: "We need to compete so we stay cracked."

No idea if anything will come of this but he annoyed me and I was bored.

People had a sponsored server from Mweb some time ago, and ran cracked games (servers) on the server on the side.
Someone reported them to Mweb, but not via public forums, but via the abuse mail, and the problem was solved internally.

I think it's a better way about going about it than washing laundry in public.
 
Your title is incorrect and dangerous rendering this thread useless.
 
SonZeRo is Mweb he manages the game servers at gmz so they know already about this thread. I'm sure they are taking legal action.

I think that is still piracy you obtained said item via illegal means ergo piracy.
