MWEB - still no price cuts?

easy to leave afrihost--just cancel before 25th of month--all online.
nothing wrong with mweb, just the price of data--fix that and we all happy.

I still don't see the problem with mweb prices. I feel I get value for moola. The problem I have with pricing is 1) telkom line rental 2) telkom adsl access, those need to come down then I will be completely happy.

With Afrihost's uncapped I will save in the line of R300 p/m. With that saving you HAVE to try it out. Gave my termination notice to Mweb yesterday.

Well for me, I can either get the same service from Afri for R100 less per month, or upgrade from 4Mb to 10Mb and save R2 per month. It matters to me...

Mweb just announced there new ADSL Line pricing http://mybroadband.co.za/news/adsl/54037-mweb-adsl-pricing-change.html , basically R10 more for 384kbps users, same price for every one els...


Still no word on data pricing change?

Mweb do you even plan on lowering uncapped data pricing to compete with Afrihost?

Afrihost will release their pricing for the 2Mb uncapped offering long before MWEB (I hope). Its all I am waiting for.

MWEB are going to drop the ball on this one I think - I don't see the point of waiting now that they know what Telkom's plans for the line speeds are. Give us some figures / guesstimations at the very best on how much the 2MB data package is! Are 1MB users (old, not the new 384k ones) going to get automatically bumped up to 2MB or do we get a choice of staying on 1MB with no repercussion of having to wait a month?
