MWEB - still no price cuts?

I didn't think this would have had such an effect on everything MWEB related.

Who is in charge now that is dropping the high bar Rudi set?
 
A few days ago I got a call from Mweb wanting to do a short survey.

They asked if I moved to mweb for price or service reasons. This sounds to me like someone in managment is trying to justify keeping prices the same "because they give good service". Seriously, they do not even have a 2mb option yet.

Aha, so this explains why we are still waiting then. It also explains that someone is clueless as to what their customers want.

Tell them to come on MyBB & read what they need to so we can finally get the pricing.
 
Well, honestly, if they are increasing the pricing on the 384kbps packages, I can't see them reducing ours.

But as D3x said, they really should stop by this site on a more frequent basis. Listen to your customers.

I think I have made my choice to be honest. While cybersmart and afrihost have decreased prices, we sit in limbo.

Same old same old! We should start a "Count to a million" game in here to pass the time buy while waiting for MWEB to jump on the already moving bandwagon.
 
I think we have better make it 2 million. I think we will get it that before we see a drop in prices :(

Even the Mweb people have stopped replying here!
 
Geez guys. Seriously. Have you nothing better to do with your time? Once Telkom officially releases upgrade and the line speed changes, I'll see what Mweb does. If Mweb does nothing, then I'll probably move over.

Sitting here whining about it isn't going to change squat.
 
I'm also leaving Mweb. I don't think you guys should wait till 31 July. Cancel now (you'll still be with them till end of august). But if people start cancelling now they'll notice that we're not bluffing and they might act sooner and you might end up cancelling your cancellation...
 
What is their cancellation window period? 30 days?

I was looking at that Telkom 1MB Uncapped Line for R349/month.. Thats a great deal.

A calendar month, so if you cancel anywhere from now until the end of the month, your service will terminate on the 31st Aug.

We have already seen it & so have MWEB. Its not official (wholesale) yet but they have had something to work with.

We have every right to moan. It is OUR money that we are spending. And being overcharged by the looks of it.
 
C'mon MWEB!!! This is actually embarrassing, u have lost so many customers already and are loosing more by the minute, once the prices do eventually drop all the customers will have moved, they most likely wont move back considering pricing will be around the same....UNLESS!!! You have something behind your backs, something wow!! Cmon MWEB let us know whats going on and whats on the boards!! :D

I doubt that. Besides, once over at the greener grass and they hike prices due to telkom increases. Tell us if the **** is different over there that is making the grass so green...

Well the R200+ (Actually R255 if my calculations are correct) saving will buy you a lot of fertilizer to make the grass greener.
