What a question. Shares are bought and traded on good will, gut feel and performance indicators.

In a service industry good will is a determinant of future earnings so collapsing good will is to severely impair the heart of the business and in the process devalues the equity of the company. In a share trading environment good will destruction can result in a negative sentiment towards the business which manifests itself in the trading so yes.Does good will measure towards share price? If the company have taken these measures to stop running at a loss then maybe the board should review the reason why they introduced the business model in the first place.

There is nothing inherently unsustainable in providing an uncapped, unthrottled contended and shaped ADSL based Internet service
There is a heck of a lot unsustainable in spending copious amounts of money advertizing an uncapped, unthorttled contended and shaped ADSL based Internet service when you have a pool running at near full capacity. If you are a price taker you really need to find a supply point that works - cut the damn marketing spend because you shouldn't be providing widgets in a larger quantity than an equilibrium price.
There is also a heck of a lot unsustainable practice in having people resell off your network and not having the ability to identify and address such actual abuse.
Most importantly if the model was unsustainable to begin with why have so many other providers successfully implemented uncapped offerings - most pertinently Telkom Internet?
I'm not bs-ing; ask the guys who have been throttled here; if they were throttled at 60GB.
Well I have and I don't download the internet I do max 75 gb
The problem I think lies in the company's failing to define limits from the get go,
So your 30 day rolling window was 75gb and you got throttled? Can you PM Mweb Guy your details so he can confirm.
errr no! I do max 75GB a month. did i mention anything about a 30day rolling period there ....no let me go check my post again :erm:
I've been doing every month about 65-75 gb a month for the past year. Last time I went over 80gb was 1 month ago when my hdd crashed and I didn't backup 5 steam games. I had to download it again
So yeah mweb does have a fairy tale threshold and it can be anything even 5gb
Check your 30 day usage at http://myadsl.mweb.co.za/ and come back and let us know please, I would find it surprising if the threshold limit has dropped.
My last 30 day rolling period was 84GB
October I had to download BF4 twice ( Power cut had to start all over )
August hdd crashed had to download 5 steam games
not sure what my 30 day rolling period was when my account showed throttled but now its unthrottled
here is my 12 month usage

But they are not running at a loss, the last time their financial performance was mentioned they were praised by Naspers, I just wish I could find that article.Does good will measure towards share price? If the company have taken these measures to stop running at a loss then maybe the board should review the reason why they introduced the business model in the first place.

Good luck, I would recommend looking at the different ISP Feedback threads and see which one has the least amount of network related complaints.
really think this is mweb guy in disguise as he seems to know way more than everybody on this throttling issue.Good luck, I would recommend looking at the different ISP Feedback threads and see which one has the least amount of network related complaints.
