MWEB to offer own mobile data products through Cell C

Cell C isn't looking so pretty at the moment, AfriHost is the best mobile deal at the moment.

Why is Cell C signing deals for its network when it is currently not up to standard?? Oh well, that means more customers blowing up Cell C and MWEB's facebook and twitter pages.

That is contract prices.

I know. 12 months. I wouldn't mind that on a separate APN on my cell. Similar to what AH is doing now but at R99 a GB month to month.
On contract you have carry over normally. Month to month, no carry over.

MTN OOB is R2 per mb(Totally absurb)
MTN data bundle R149(But that is 24months)


That's why I say R69/gb for 12 months, loaded as a separate APN on my existing MTN contract. I will be happy.

1GB - Basic Browsing, emailing and online banking (F me, I can't do online banking with only 500MB)
2GB - " " plus social networking (Holy smokes - twitter needs another GB for my 140 character tweets)
10GB - Upload and Download medium to large "attachments" (Sorry grandma, please don't send cat pics, I only have 2GB)
20GB - Same as 10GB

Were these written by somebody from 1998? Have they every heard of online gaming, steam, box office, youtube etc?

PS: I'm going to upgrade my data cap now so I can do 500MB worth of internet banking.

Seems like a error - under Cell C 3G it states a minimum contract length of 12 months:
