MWEB to stop their WebSMS service

MWEB has informed their subscribers that they will discontinue their WebSMS service from 7 April

Reason they're closing the service must be due to a lack of people purchasing bundles.
Who's going to pay to use this service when you can do so for free via :

1. Vodacom - Vodacom cell nos. - used it about 2 weeks ago on new website, and working much better than it was a few months ago ;

I think the people using it are using it mostly for web marketing. Sending out thousands of SMS's a day at discounted rates. I've also noticed smaller companies such as the car dealerships, who use sms's to inform clients that their booking has been confirmed or cancelled.

No loss! Did not bother to use it as I have a cell with a SMS bundle!
