GrootBaas, are the first results with the MWEB account?

I have not received your MWEB details via PM yet.

Sorry, looks like I made a mistake with the PM. Yeah the first result was with the mweb account before changing to Afrihost. Very inconsistent speeds.

Hi Mweb Guy
Have been having major issues with streaming over the last few weeks, I have a 1 megabit uncapped account but am syncing at 2 megabits, which rules out overheads. My speedtest results are 0.8 down and 0.35 up, before all the trouble started I was able to get speeds of 1.3 down and 0.43 up, I'm guessing this is a problem on your side, or could this be exchange congestion (011 706 XXXX)

Also being able to stream YouTube at 360p is one of the main reasons I upgraded in the first place from 0.384, but at the moment it really feels no different to 6 months ago, can only stream consistently at 240p

Hi MWEB guy

I cant seem to login to rapidgator.net anymore. Is there any reason for that. It doesnt seem to stay logged in. Its only on mweb, if i change my ISP, it works... Any ideas?

It only started happening a week ago

Hi Segg

I want to check for you if it could be a congested exchange. Please provide me trace route results in order to check.

Also, PM me the MWEB email address to check the account as well.

Hey, it seems that the internet speed is back to normal on my side :D

One question - Is seeding at full speed only possible at night/in weekends?

Thanks for the feedback.

Shaping changes at different times of the day and is dynamic based on the demand on the network for high preference traffic.

Hi Hazard

Are you still unable to login to rapidgator.net with the MWEB account?

Hi MWEB Guy

Just signed up with you guys, very happy with everything, however my torrents seem to be VERY shaped. Any particular reason?

Didn't expect such slow speeds because I just signed up...

Hi captain_flush

Welcome aboard :)

Torrent speeds are not guaranteed. They are given the lowest priority on our network. I suggest you consider using news servers to download from.

PM me the MWEB email address so that I can provide you more information about news servers.

Hi Mweb Guy, getting some really bad speeds. http://www.speedtest.net/result/2441927096.png

I can feel it in browsing etc. Pages just timeout and i cant even stream youtube vids at all. Please look into it. Thanks

Hi Pansyfaust

Hope you are well on this wonderful Thursday morning and that your 2013 has started with a bang :-)

Lets get this terrible speed issue squashed. Yes, it is a bad speed result for your up to 1MB data account.

I have refreshed the account and ask that you have the same done with the ADSL port.

Please also configure the router with the Telkom guest account details and do a speed test from saix.net. If you don't have the test account details, just let me know.

See my signature :-)
