Why do you ask me for this when all previous questions have been answered without asking for that information.

This complaint with you and Telkom has gone on now for over one month how come you do not know about it?

My apologies, for some reason I could not access your account. I was now able to retrieve your MWEB account details after restarting my PC.

You say that the problem is been on going between MWEB and Telkom, however your line is not with MWEB. We therefore cannot log any faults with Telkom on your behalf.

I have checked your line readings and your MWEB account now and they both seem fine.

We have no reported issues in your area at the moment either.

Please have Telkom recreate your port, before we troubleshoot your hardware.
 
Sigh. I cancelled my bandwith and adsl line rental, and today when I tried to move my voice line to my new place telkom says the adsl line rental is still active. Please sort it out.

Good Morning, I have sent a follow up request regarding this to the relevant management team and I am awaiting feedback.
 
@Mweb guy - will my monthly levy also be reduced seeing that Mweb reduced their pricing? (I'm using the data-only 1Mb package)

Good MOrning, we have introduced a new throttled product. You will need to downgrade from your premium shaped product to the throttled product if you would like to take advantage of the new pricing.

Can you elaborate on the difference between the two?
 
WOW, I see Cybersmart is more than R200 a month cheaper than my MWEB account. Making me think.
 
Quick question can you pay with the credit card for the account?

We do not have specifics on the throttling thresholds and so forth at the moment. Therefore I cannot provide you much detail.

Throttling entails decreasing the speeds of an individual once he has hit a specific threshold. Eg. top 40% of the highest users on the throttled product will have there speeds decreased if the network takes strain. (just an example, not actual)

This will impact on all there traffic.

Shaped premium clients will continue to have their current services, nothing is to change on the way we shape and allocate bandwidth to specific protocols throughout any given day.

AFAIk 1 Mbps Package is still the same...
Still R339 pm ADSL Uncapped Premium Shaped, but not Throttled.
 
Hi Mwebguy, what process do I have to do to move my line rental over to Mweb? Currently its under telkoms control, but If I move it to mweb its about R20 cheaper...and that is a plus.

Good Day Pansyfaust, you need to complete the ADSL line migration application to have your line migrated to MWEB.
