That seems much better ;)

;) Tx. ! Seems consistantly better than before ! :D

I never stopped my downloads when doing a speed test. :o

When the result is good, I go ahead and post the result(s).

When bad, I stop everything that's downloading and retry the test.

So far I'm quite happy with the line speed etc.
Usually do that as well, but just wanted to see for interest sake what's the difference.

Speedtests and ping is definitely better now than, even before starting to download.
Still Happy Chappy with MWEB Though ! :)

Hey MWEB,

I have had problems with my internet for the last few days. Telkom has reset my port twice now after calling them, and they can't detect any problems. Resetting the port helps for about 10 minutes then it goes bad again.

Sites don't load, take super long, sometimes I have to refresh ten times, and sometimes it cuts out completely for a bit. Can I confirm that there is nothing wrong your side, then I can get angry at Telkom?

Hi Pooky

I have double check your account and all looks fine. If you have to recreate your port to get your connection fixed and then goes back to being problematic after 10min that says a lot. What about moving you to a different port or exchange?

Have you perhaps tested with a different ISP account to see if the problem replicates itself?

Thanks I will see if I can get a demo account from somewhere.
I seem to have misplaced my MWEB password though for the router, is there a way to retrieve it?

Hi Pooky

I can only see the length of the password and it is 8 characters long. If that does not help, you'll have to reset it by completing a password reset form.

Hi Mweb Guy

This weekend is the LCS for League of Legends and i was wondering what priority sites like Twitch.tv have on Mweb. I have had no streaming problems really but am just curious.

On another note my torrents arnt even finding peers so you might get some guys crying about this later. Might want to just have a look before your night gets flooded with complaints.

Thanks

Hi Bar_Rat

Streaming via our Network gets priority and I can't answer on what your experience is going to be like as there might be millions end users across the world who perhaps is going to log into the site/server.

With regards to torrents, I've just tested a download and it is running fine. Tested torrents for the past 3 days and had no problems.

Thanks for the feedback. Streaming is great from mweb.

Hi Shuyin

It is a 1 month calendar notice period.

Have a safe trip :-) and thank you for your positive feedback.

Hi copacetic

You calendar month notice will start as of 1 March. You need to send an email to [email protected]

Is there any reason why you'd want to cancel?

As in, I need to pay for March as well?

That's not going to work, simply don't have the money at this stage.

Is it possible to downgrade then, to a slower speed, commencing in March?
