Still not there, cannot even stream 360p content on 4Meg line from YouTube.

I'm going to stream different videos now and will feedback you my experience once done.

Please provide me with the video links you trying to stream.

As for the reason, it's purely financial - I think what I may have to do is go for a 1mbps account and line again. :sick:

Ok

I've played(tried) the videos from the link you provided and it was terrible like you said it was.

I then took the links and loaded it directly into Youtube(opened a browser TAB) and it played fine. Little bit of buffer but with a little pause and bobs your uncle, I watched the clip with no problem.

Did the same with another clip from the link you provided same result as above.

We do not have any issues with youtube streaming currently.

I'll see how it goes since I also get lousy speed on YouTube itself. I'll ride it out this week-end, hopefully it will improve with the start of the new week, will let you know.

Test conducted on 10/2/2013 00:15:44

Download Speed: 946 kbps (118.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 524 kbps (65.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 54 ms

International:
Test conducted on 10/2/2013 00:18:10

Download Speed: 1111 kbps (138.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 485 kbps (60.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 236 ms

Hi

For all the guys on the Mweb 4mb AI package, is it worth paying the extra R300 over the 2mb package if you're a heavy downloader (Steam, NZBs, torrents, direct downloads)?
 
Anyone else had slightly flaky performance this afternoon? I can game fine but I've found browsing to be a bit intermittent.
 
Found that youtube tend to [-]bugger[/-]buffer a lot when HD is enabled. Disabling it means I can watch some stuff on my 1Mb line without having a lot of buffering timeouts.

Alternatively, you can make use of a video downloader if needed.
