I've been having Skype issues the whole day. Both my home and work connection (PMB area)
 
So... cancelled my Mweb account yesterday (which includes line rental) and on the same day my line stops synching... I call shena****ns!

Gotta give credit where credit is due - reported line fault to Mweb last night. Telkom already at my place to fix the line... If the Mweb premium account was cheaper there is no doubt I would stay with it

Yes - me too. RDP still not working as well. I connected to VPN and suddenly Skype and RDP works. Mweb - you are the weakest link! Goodbye!

Yep, both wonky. Skype working intermittently, RDP completely broken. If establish a VPN to my StrongVPN US server (over MWEB), I can skype 100% and RDP 100%. Is someone calling me between 1pm and 1:30 pm?

There is a call back scheduled for 1pm, you could receive a call just be fore or just after.
 
Is Skype being shaped at the moment - The last week or so Skype is working intermittently during the day - and always around 6 oclock it connects and works flawlessly.

Anybody else having YouTube streaming issues? I'm on 10mb uncapped and most videos can't pull more than about 80kBps :(

Weird thing is some of them are going full speed (1mBps). International hiccups?

Been complaining about youtube for a while now. Mweb Guy says there are no problems. Have to wait like 10mins to watch a 30sec clip on 480p.

Skype doing an update right now... wonder if they've found an issue. Updated to 6.1.59.129. I'll keep an eye on it. Skype's version system is a bos up. My colleagues are all on 6.1.0.129 and clicking 'help - update skype' returns 'You're on the latest version'. I'm sending them to www.skype.com to download the latest.

That aside, RDP is working flawlessly right now (after hours). Tested after 7:30ish.
I've recorded the process and will do the same tomorrow morning when it breaks again. I'll see if I can test before 6am and after 6am, then before and after 7 / 8 am to see if there's a 'switch' when it stops working.

RDP is broken again this morning. I got the call yesterday from support and confirmed that there was an issue and I'm assuming it's been escalated. Hopefully a resolution soon?

This morning again, but after connecting to StrongVPN (works):

In my mind, this indicates that my traffic is being more than shaped and prioritized...
