Tests after hours are no use as then things are different.

I am having problems during the day not after hours.

How can i be soooo slow on a 4 meg line???

Let me know if teamviewer comes back up then we'll run some test.
Also remember that as advised, if your exchange is congested, it will impact on the type of service you will experience.
 
Well have you heard if my exchange is congested?

Why was speeds more than triple the speed yesterday at the same time of the day then?
 
Hi, torrents are given the lowest priority on our network and speeds are not guaranteed

Mweb always ready with an excuse same words different day...... lowest priority,congested exchange,we will look into it, have you spoken to Telkom about this? blah blah canceled moved to Afrihost and all my problems went away :whistle: funny how things work out.
 
I'm having trouble with the speed and latency on my line. >1300ms ping with 20% packet loss, makes games unplayable. Account is 1mbps uncapped.

Is it just me, can anyone connect to the mweb news server for more than 2 seconds.. ?

For me it attempts to connect and then kicks me off again...

Please can you provide me with the MWEB email address or username via PM. Also, can you run a traceroute to a local and international site and send it to me as well.
 
I cannot get onto the net via Mweb uncapped, its an on/off saga and mostly downtime, the internet light on my modem remains red, any suggection to why Mweb Guy? Been like this a week now.

Have you tried to connect with a different ISP account yet to see if you get the same issue.
 
Well with everyone complaining recently, thought I would just chime in to say my MWEB 1mb uncapped is as fast and as stable as ever, never had a moments trouble :)

I see that there has been a line fault logged to telkom.

We have not received any feedback from Telkom.

Please note that Telkom has a 7 working day turn around time.
