MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 2

Can you please explain to me how me and my roommates have absolutely horrible timeouts and downloads speeds with MWEB (premium uncapped) when downloading games from steam, but afrihost, on the exact same line, is flying? I left my PC on during the day and downloaded a whopping 500mb, in ~9hours. On top of that, I'm forced to use my afrihost when I want to play Diablo3, since I cannot for the life of me connect while on MWEB uncapped. Really see no more point in staying with MWEB

Same issue, and I keep on being told its my exchange or some other excuse. I now have a mweb test account and downloads start ok, even torrents, and then totally drop, from 350kB/s t0 0.1kB/s. Log onto Afrihost, Web Africa or Imaginet then everything is fine.

Yep, in the short time I've been home now and switched to afrihost, I've almost downloaded more than the entire day on mweb, lmao. Sad really.

Mweb is like a snail stuck in peanut butter tonight, thank god for Afrihost! everything is flying.....
I still have 25 days left on my Mweb account's then it's bye bye.....
Wish there was a way to cancel immediately with Mweb :mad:

Will be sending in my cancellation at the end of the month, this 1 month notice period is really a way to exploit the customer. Which Afrihost account do you use?

Tried a Mweb test account...

What a Waste of time :( +300ms ping

i'm an online gamer, and a 300ms ping will not get me into any lobby.

I would like to look into this from our side. Please can you PM me the MWEB email address or username. Also, can you send me a speedtest result from 1 of your other accounts.
 
Everything is crawling

and no i cant give a tracert or speedtest as I am at work.

Teamviewer refuses to even load :(

Yesterday afternoon, all was going fine, now its back to slow since 7 this morning :/

EDIT: Never mind :) My SABnbzd behaved like a silly child, so I fixed the problem by slapping it hard into a good child.

Tests after hours are no use as then things are different.

I am having problems during the day not after hours.

How can i be soooo slow on a 4 meg line???
