freck this, freck Mweb and their shiite service. even this low quality video are buffering like kek.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIwonl-xG_M&mode=related&search=

We are back to the times when they installed the London "shaper". Lies are all you will get from Mweb instead of facts that they are oversubscribed and their engineers knows nothing about how to run and setup a network. Therefore their shiite staccato service.

Here is my valuable speedtest on a 4M sevice

Some more tests. The speedtest.net to london tried for a few minutes but with no success in doing the download test. Now when will mweb stop lying on myBB and continue acting as if nothing is wrong and just playing for time????

Having all the same problems a 1mbps uncapped line in Potchefstroom...

Since signing up (2 months ago), I've NEVER been able to stream even 240p YouTube except only on a few occasions. Now, Pausing something and having it load is entirely hopeless on YouTube as it will simply never buffer at all. Half the time the player doesn't even load properly.

Speedtest.net simply won't even load for me either so I can't test it. From Mwebs tool, I'm supposedly getting:

Download Speed: 424 kbps (53 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 424 kbps (53 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: -1 ms

Not only is this half the speed of what it should be, but I'd be ECSTATIC if I ever saw 53KB/sec on an actual DL. Strangely, I've never had a single issue with uploading (probably do around ~2-4gb/month in uploads).

Downloading something through a browser lately is pretty much hopeless. Even 10mb files error out without finishing. It's absolutely pathetic.

Send me your MWEB details so that I can have a look into this for you

Shunmander, Bradrap and Seriously -which areas are you in? Might be an exchange issue.

So it looks like Speedtest.net is working for me again:
Local to CPT MWEB server:

International to London MWEB server:

No, I'm not on a heavily shaped and throttled 384K line, I'm on "premium" 2Mbps Uncapped.

EDIT: Great, so speedtest stopped working again. Can't even see the results images on my own post...

15 days to go, bye bye MWEB.
Been good at the start, but now, from my viewpoint, too much background manipulation and upfront PR...
Seacom incident leveled the BS....

What a pity/disappointment....

Super slow 4meg MWeb line

Screenshot 2013:04:14 6:51 PM.png
I don't get more than 0.5meg on my MWeb 4meg uncapped line. This has been going on for weeks, and surely Seacom can't be to blame for this?
