MWEB Guy, there has to be something wrong with MWEB's network... There have so many complaints in the last 2 weeks it's actually shocking?... Everyone is saying the same thing! I think your technical peips should have a better look into this.. This isn't one person but quite a lot :(

To be honest, it's actually about 7-9 people making dozens of bitching posts. If it was the network, we would ALL be affected. I don't doubt you're having problems but to keep lumping the whole network every damn post is getting ridiculous.

Morning, we have an open line fault for you.

As advised to you previously your attenuation is at 61dB and you line is syncing at 3072kbps at the moment. Telkom normally drops the line speed to improve line stability and to decrease attenuation readings.

Your problem seems to be related to your line and not an MWEB network issue.
 
MWeb Guy. Its been happening again since 14:00. Website browsing non existing. Very erratic...the torrents speed also up and down...full speed, down to 10kB/s

Now it seems fine. How do i test for congestion?

When i switch to other accounts, speeds are fine. Capped or uncapped
 
Hi Tjoker,

If it happens again, please do a trace route to mweb.co.za and bbc.co.uk them PM me the results.
Also send me comparitive results with another ISP account if possible.
 
Having the same issues in League of legends right now.

Edit:
Gonna try make a detailed post after I do some testing and that. I do notice that whenever my ping in game is not in the 200-210 range, I have this issue which seems a lot like packet loss from when my line was not working correctly. I do only get this issue on Mweb, let me make that clear.

I found out the IPs of some LoL servers from here (https://support.leagueoflegends.com/entries/20749152-Server-IP-Addresses) and did tracerts to them when I was having the lag issues.

Thanks MWEB Guy! Don't worry about it, Telkom is useless, they came here already left and didn't say anything, so I assumed it was fine :(? You can close the fault, I will wait and see what happens! The technician said our area is during the process of being connected to the MSAN and should be done sometime in the next 3 months.

Thanks for you help! And sorry for all the bothering :( It was a real pain in the ass, I've just stopped playing League of Legends because of the packet loss... But I'm now setting up a Minecraft server with someone from MWEB :) We got sponsored so yippi! :D

I have the exact same issue sometimes. With the being showing constant but actually lagging.

I will provide your feedback to our gaming team.

The gaming tested it on the 2nd May at 15:00 with a steady ping of 172 throughout the game. No other secondary traffic was on the line. He walked away with a 15/10/11 K/D/A public game playing with Tristrana on EU West.

Yes you mentioned this already. But the problem is still not fixed. It seems that it is only happening at night (at least for me) and it happened in the middle of a game for me yesterday (start game all is fine, 25 minutes in the lag starts).
