MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 2

This is the feedback from our gaming team:

Had a good session on DSL yesterday afternoon at about 15:00 with a steady ping of 172 throughout the game. No other secondary traffic was on the line. Walked away with a 15/10/11 K/D/A public game playing with Tristrana on EU West.

Please let me know if they must schedule another game tonight on a 1Mb line.

I will let you know. Had the issue last night, but not today.

So far.
 
Whats up with the speed again, nothing is working? Was given a test account from Mweb Support, also does not correclty, seriously this is really starting to become more than irritating.

We received your cancellation request and actioned it for you. You then made contact with us requesting that we stop the downgrade, which was already in place and leave you on the up to 4MB package ( we then upgraded it back ) while you wait out the notice period.

We then acted upon you request swiftly and implemented.

Your credit of the calculation of the account being downgraded and then upgrade will be available to you as advised, around the 25 May.

And in the process of chopping and changing and haste you took a days pro rata off my credit. But that is not the point.

A company that takes 25 days to refund a client, or a company that have a default over run limit of R500 on a R29 data package is a company that is pro their bottom line, they pray on uninformed clients. The morning that I cancelled in your retail store, I listened to two clients complain of bill shock.

As a company owner myself, I can tell you that these things are not for client service. These are signs of a greedy company out to make a quick buck. I don't deny you your profit, I make one myself, but not like this.

If you truly had service, I would have been refunded already, if you truly had services, you would have allow people to cancel within a month. If you were truly a company that cared about their customers, you would have reversed the changed packages on the same day to reflect the clients desire.

As a customer I can do just two things, tell every friend I have, and post my experience on these forums and on Hellopeter and vote with my feet and wallet and Mweb will make me wait for my refund.

I can see you were given a test account. I will add this to the open log on our side and have our team follow up on what is causing this on out side.

Thanks, but I think its time to leave Mweb, this issue with my connection was reported 2 months ago, and todate I still have the same issues. NOTHING has been done to fix my issue. The last Tech that called me they could not even find test results I sent, really all I ever do is waste my time, pay more than any other service provider, and do not get what I am paying for.
 
Im also getting really fed up...gumtree is not loading..youtube non existing. Facebook and twitter loads but no pics...torrents crawling at 5 kB/s down and up....its friday night, 10 pm...

P.s Im on 4 MB Premium Uncapped

What really dissapoints me is that we used mweb, same product since their lunch with minimal issues. When i resigned and started to work from home, MWeb was the obvious choice. But since signing up, speeds and overall experience was never the same. It feels like my account is shaped all hours...rarely i would get full speed.

Dont ask me to pay for a premium branded service, and dish up inferior service. Being shaped to hell when i want to facebook, youtube or even browse, thats playing with the lions testicals! Im cancelling as soon as I can!

I signed for the 6 month contract(first two months free) special. Im now end month 1? Do I have options?

Your usage for yesterday is at 10gig and already at 3.3gig this morning.
 
Saturday morning and my torrents are sitting at like 40kb :(

Any update on fixing my line and getting things running asap would help.

Also during the week, emails dont even send so working from home becomes near impossible.

Please help :)

Im talking about Youtube, Facebook, browsing and TeamViewer services that are useless. These are supposed "priority" services. My wife tried to use gumtree and Pinterest last night with frusration. She told me this is nothing new...

Ive done a quick test and all seems normal now.

My problem is with normal internet services especially 6pm to 11pm.

Everything seems to be offline at Mweb,

Can't access my account, mweb.co.za, E-mail, downloads are slow slow slow.

Well the account was not working last night, not too sure how I am supposed to get results? I am going to cancel on Monday, I cannot waste my time like this.

PurSpyk!! your trace results show a clear indication of a congested exchange.

I don't think the route cause of your problem is linked to the account.

Well then wy is there no problem with an Afrihost, Imaginet or Web Africa Account? Using the same exchange? Why are other users reporting the same things over and over, this thread alone has 530 pages??

Which traceroute results are you refering to? The last Tech that phoned me could not find any results for my account?
