My entier line is pretty slow with everything and constant DC's from black ops 2?

Any idea if there is a problem?

Hi sh00t1ngst4r

There is major issues with your line which we are currently assisting with. Your tracert results show extremely high hops which in turn could automatically have a negative impact on your over all internet experience.

Our technical specialist will remain in contact with you until the line issue is resolved.

Have you perhaps checked for anything relating to, black ops 2 on our dedicated Game Zone forums?

I'm not a mweb customer, just outta curiousity... I see you guys are now offering trial accounts but only on 1mb and 4mb, when will you get your 10mb data trial available?
I did call in and they said it wasn't supported as yet. I would prefer testing my 10mb line with 10 mb data account, to compare with Webafrica.

Good Afternoon, unfortunately we do not have a 10MB test account as yet...

The best we can do for now, is a 4MB account...
 
How can I find out if my exchange is congested? Internet is very sluggish this time of night and I'm struggling to work over the VPN.
 
Sasolburg (016 976) totally dead, sending this over edge from my phone, calling technical support doesn't even ring.

Evening ABCpt, this should show with your speed test results and trace route results. Please provide me trace route results to mweb.co.za and bbc.co.uk

Slow in CPT, southern Suburbs, tech support have no clue. As stated before log onto a different ISP and it flies again. Chaps its time to change over to a different ISP. Now not only do i have slow speeds but the connection drops as well, 15 disconnects today alone.
 
An ISP could have a wizard on their team and still not make your line physically disconnect .......... that's Telkom infrastructure :rolleyes:

How does one go about getting telkom to either improve the copper quality in the area or preferably install a mini-dslam right outside my door?

I simply cannot live with this attenuation and noise anymore, not to mention the occasional packet loss...

I cant even stream a video in 240p... This is surely not acceptable...

What are my options here?

Altbinz just connects and then it get kicked off imediately.. Astraweb works fine.

Can you ping the news server at all? Are you getting any error messages?
