Are you only having issues with the news server? Is everything fine?
 
The big difference is last month news server was almost full speed, now it's slower than torrents. And torrents seem to be schizophrenically shaped now.

are you having news server issues? We tested this on our side and we are getting good speeds to the cpt news server.
 
At you can connect to the news server Rambo919 .. I have not able to connect for a week and a half now...

Now forced to use astraweb

When I tried this morning for a hour mayby I got about 25KBps compared to the normal 70-90 daytime speeds, this was with 3 mweb connections and 2 xsusenet connections at once.
 
It really does look like the news server speeds are becoming an issue , more and more people complaining .
 
Now getting terrible local latency too ...... it's just not coming right this week.

Seems I'm going to have to start looking at other ISPs. The problems are just endless with Mweb at this point. It's deathly slow again.

Alternatively, could it be a Telkom congestion issue?
