Good evening, I have recreated your port and re-authenticated your account.

Please reboot your router for at least 5min

MWEB Guy please do mine to. I switched my modem off for about 30min but the news server is still slow

are you having news server issues? We tested this on our side and we are getting good speeds to the cpt news server.

My news server speeds have been awful all of today. Hovered around 16k during office hours, at 25k now.
I've tried rebooting the router, no difference.

I still can't connect to your news server (news.mweb.co.za). What is the IP?

Please provide me your MWEB account details via private message and I will provide you the relevant IP

Can you help me please. I have been upgraded to your 2meg today and my line was migrated to you guys.
Since the migration and the upgrade that happened today my line has drop numerous times. While trying to type this it has dropped 5 times already.

Why is this happening? When I was on 1MB and my ADSL line at Telkom everything ran perfect.

P.s I did try your technical department but waited 7 minutes on the line and no agent was available.

I have checked the following (Not sure if it will help)

Downstream:
SNR Margin - Between 2.0db to 28.0db
Line Attenuation - Between 21db to 25db

Upstream:
SNR Margin - 6.0db
Line attenuation - 9.5db

Good Evening, you need to submit the cancellation request by the 1st of June. I would suggest that you do it by the end of May though
 
Okay really, is there anyway for me to get this issue with packet loss and high ping fixed? I currently have anywhere between 4-8% packet loss whilst pinging www.mweb.co.za at 500ms+.

Well that pretty much just killed my connection. My line is sync'ed but my account is not authenticating. These are the exact same issues I had a few weeks ago and Telkom did not know how to fix it. When I told them its a problem at the exchange the "techie" said its MWeb's fault/problem.

I'm now running on my 3G stick to post this.
