Its business is it not? Why would I want to share my traffic with mweb when I am using one of their business accounts :twisted:

Simple answer to the following will also answer if deforce papers are going to be served:

Why would mweb want to inspect my traffic if I am on a business account? Surely if its business its above home and its up to me how I am going to apply it. Whether or not it be all or nothing over SSTP or something like SFPT its up to me I would say and the reason why I would have being paying for business. Now here it comes...

Q) Does mweb allow me to manage my business account without having to look over my shoulder whether I'm reading news24, watching a movie or downloading one?
A) It goes here and its the same answer as to my cancellation, because there are actually ISPs that see business as business and not another plaything for naspers.

We monitor all accounts, however its not someone sitting there physically watching the traffic.

If you would like to use data in large amounts and not be picked up for abuse; I'd suggest that you look at our unshaped options.

That's not what I asked, nor was I under impression someone actually sits there. :erm:

If I asked: "Hey, what account is good for large amount of data?" :o

Then answer would be: "If you would like to use data in large amounts and not be picked up for abuse; I'd suggest that you look at our unshaped options." :)

Lets try again and I shall be clear:

Does mweb allow the free use of encryption on their business accounts without mweb needing to look over my shoulder? :wtf:

It would be strange if mweb does not allow this since its a business account after all. I haven not seen CMC networks enforcing this at all...

I cannot confirm whether we allow encryption on our business packages.

I'd be laughing my head of to be honest if it is not so. I would have to ask that consultant what type of business would not encrypt traffic...

I had a problem with rooter light dropping off nad slow speed than I reported to Mweb they send the request at Telkom , problem now they dropped 1Mbps speed to 384kbps now loading 0.28 upload 0.11, from load at 0.90 at upload was 0.28mbps now videos very bad yoh bad expirience yerrr.

Evening mmelly, is your ADSL line with Telkom or MWEB? Please also provide me your MWEB account details via private message.
 
Noticed for a couple days now..

MWEB shaping Twitch.tv during the day?
Can barely get a nice streaming video at 320p :confused:

I'm not on MWEB but twitch.tv is pretty broken. If there are a lot of viewers there's lag. I can't stream 240p when there are a lot of viewers but can do 720p when there aren't a lot of people online watching.

Watching Dota 2 live stream on occasion at 360p with about 3-5k people watching some times its beautiful get a constant stream not one hickup, yet some days they shape hard and I cannot get a stable stream for more than 5-10 seconds..

The problem isn't always with the shaping, as we give a high priority for streaming.

As Kwerty eluded to, sometimes the servers are busy and your experience becomes deteriorated.
 
is microsoft.com heavily shaped? best speed I can get from there is 22KBps.

Afternoon, it shouldn't be... Have you tried rebooting your router as yet Or forcing a new IP connection?

No will do that tomorrow if it does it again, it's as if it gets shaped the same way as p2p. Started at 50 but then slowly decreased as the day went on.

These are legal downloads, so it shouldn't be affected in the same way as p2p.

Hi Mr Guy my address [email protected] did apply for the immigration to mweb but Telkom maintain dat I'm stil with them Isithebe exchange (NISE) 4mbps they granted me 1mbps but this year big issue dropping a lot now Telkom dropped to 384kbps 0.29 load upload 0.11
