MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 2

It feels like it's getting worse by the minute. Somerset West, almost no youtube streaming possible.

Yeah definitely. It seems to be affecting streaming and packet loss more than latency in my opinion. Somewhere along the line something is busted. In game latency is only 20 plus the usual but I have 7-10% loss and cannot stream anything properly from YouTube.

It is definitely better this morning, but still not perfect. Download from SAIX local ftp on a 2Mbit line gives me very erratic speeds between 80KB/s and 140KB/s, so it’s better than yesterday, but still not on par with what I usually get from a local server (which is a constant 200KB/s); so there still seems to be some packet loss/data throughput issues somewhere, but not as serious as yesterday.

I haven't tested at home again, but at the office (4mb Uncapped) it seems awesome this morning...

2mbps line, 1mbps account.
 
Im lagging pretty bad while playing LoL and its usually fine. Browsing seems okay but sometime lags out. Not sure whats wrong, did reset router after 1min as well. 384kps connection, but when I do a speed test the results seem fine

Been over a day now this has been happening, not sure whats wrong. Maybe its just the game c-c

Yep, still having the same issues today ....... YouTube is basically dead in the water, FB takes ages to load up, this page took a min to load all the Speedtest images. There's an issue, clearly.

Just logged into my game and that too is still on it's ass. Packet loss like candy is being given away :mad:

On 2mbps uncapped and line was flying at 203kbps download last night and this morning. Jhb.

I can definitely confirm there is problems on the MWEB network; it seems to be in Cape Town, there is definite packet loss with the jumps from Cape Town; just do a tracert and you will see from time to time packet loss in the first few hops. It is clear that there is a problem, albeit intermittently, please investigate MWEB.

On my Afrihost and everything is uber fine, no packet loss, streaming fast.

Please can you send me the traceroute that you have done via PM so that I can speak to some people regarding this.
 
No change Mweb Guy ....... A 2 minute video took 10 mins to load and gaming still borked -

Second day now that I'm being adversely affected, not a happy camper.

Downloads have now also basically died.

Can anyone tell me what the retention of items on the MWEB news server is?
