MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 2

Mine is also crawling at the moment.

30Kb/s on a 2Mb telkom line on a 1Mb mweb line. I will check again when I get home and can reset the modem. Maybe my ports have gone spastic.
 
Everything is a lil slow today. Apart from http. That's just flying.
I can't get nntp to connect via either Mweb or IS servers. Tested an Astraweb account and it flies.
 
My apple updates are going strong on my 2MB uncapped. I cap my NZB's to 30KB/sec during the day and it's maxing out on that .. not that it's much of a measure.

50kb/s on my astraweb :(
 
my speeds are all over the show.

Speed tests vary from 1.6Mb/s to 0.34Mb/s
 
Browsing is terribly slow Facebook and Twitter barely load. P2P is completely dead too.

I had a look into your account and can't find any issues on it. Your connection has been running since the 14th. Please try a reboot and see if any difference.

Have you perhaps asked Telkom to recreate the port? I have refreshed your account.

Allow for 30min to pass, then reboot and test.

This is, judging by the others too, now becoming a nightly occurrence. It's a bit of bs that come evening, Mweb slows down to a crawl. Something is up with the network, clearly, so please can it be looked into.

This has only been terrible like this since i got home. Looking at other posts and speaking with my friends on mweb its not just me.

I am also having problems with my connection. Things have been slow for about a week now. I am only getting 25% of my download speed on usenet and youtube buffers continuously. I am in Durbanville CT with a 4meg line uncapped. The whole package is with MWEB. Could you please see if there is a problem with my line?

hi, i received a notification of abuse last week and immediately responded and throttled my speed to 200kbps from 10h00-16h00 weekdays. I was in contact with the abuse department and asked if this would suffice. they gave a vague answer about a 'significant' decrease and did not comment on whether or not my actions would satisfy them. this evening I received a second warning. I have now ceased all download activity weekdays between 08h00 and 17h00 (what a PITA). so now I am asking you if this will suffice? On a side note it has come to my attention that a man by the name if imthian(from your abuse department) is running background checks on me online without my permission. I am sure this is illegal and request that it be stopped immediately. I look forward to your response.
