MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 2

The downloads are truly paused (or disabled), there is no transfer at all, it's a direct download, not bittorrent, I don't use torrents.

jdownloader, when disables does not download anything. Besides speedtest.net usually takes priority and one usually ends up seeing the slow speed elsewhere, not on speedtest. But I obviously know that if I download something at 400kb/sec I can't expect the speedtest to show 400kb too.

Besides there have been a ton of problems today and yesterday. I've worked with telephonic support on this. Things seem back to normal *NOW* but I thought the same yesterday and this morning problems. I have to reset connection a few times too and change domain and no improvement.

BTW This morning even the mweb.co.za site had issues on my connection, it wouldn't load.

When you have the problem again, please ensure all applications are closed (very important that its closed). Then provide me tracer results to local and international websites.

Sustained international download is now at 100kB/sec. Was 400KB/sec a while ago. I don't mind international slow downloads at times, but I want you to take my problem seriously and not attribute it to "other software". Your telephonic colleagues are NOT LIKE YOU, or at least the man yesterday was more helpful. Thanks.

Your tracer results seems normal... Your netstat looks fine as well, no traffic running in the background.

It's an intermittent problem. It looks OK now. Anyway, the man yesterday said to keep an eye on it and call back if it recurs. I'll keep an eye on it.
The thing is that I didn't have to keep an eye on such before yesterday since things worked 100% before that time, except when you had an international outage but I didn't bother you then for obvious reasons. Thanks.
