In fact, as of 12:10AM 20 Nov I am unable to even browse properly.

Webpages take upwards of 1 - 2 minutes to even show, and sometime fail loading completely (Including the Mweb page).

I have already tried a different browser, and even had the port reset on my router. All to no avail.

Has your experience improved ?

If not provide em with a trace route to a local and international site.
 
Anyone else having trouble with the news server?
I'm on a 1meg line and my downloads from the mweb one are about 23-35KB/s. When I try to use my alternative it shoots up to ridiculous speeds(3000MB/s!) and then gets disconnected.

Where's my consistant 100-105KB/s? And can I keep my new 3000MB/s? :D

I have been offline for the past day and half.
did all tests first Mweb tells me router is broken, connect up another one same thing, now its a telkom fault, getting sick of the downtime past month has been more than 6 times i was down and out for the count :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Call has been logged last night with Mweb, but still no result nor feedback.

I will speak to our specialists and test it from here and see what I an find out.
 
Hi MWEB Guy. I am unable to use the mweb news server. My news client just times out. If I ping news.mweb.co.za my dns resolves it but I do not get any ping responses. Please let me know if you need more details.

EDIT: I can however ping:
* news01.mweb.co.za
* news02.mweb.co.za
* news03.mweb.co.za
* news04.mweb.co.za
* news05.mweb.co.za
* news06.mweb.co.za

but my news client does not connect to any of them.

I have tested this from our side and I am getting pretty good speeds.

Send me your MWEB details.
 
Any reason that torrents aren't working even one bit? Leaving them on for one hour and not even 1kb was downloaded.

I have tested torrents from my end and I am getting pretty good speeds.

Same here it's been common practice over the last 2weeks. P2P seems to be throttled during the day to 0kb/s until tonight 23:30 when they'll start again.
Weirdly enough it seems to be affecting 1mb packages on 2mb lines a lot. Maybe I'm getting that wrong but it seems that way.

Anyway i haven't seen a resolution to this issue and i think MWEBGuy 's hands are tide here. They have reset my port turned things on my account off but it remains on 0kb/s.
I've downloaded 1.54gig in 13h:08min:53sec

Yea, I have noticed somethings up with the very late time they relax the shaping ,the other major problem is Telkom in my neck of the woods.

Might not be enough bandwidth :)
 
Something's not right, I've been unable to log in to Diablo 3 EU servers for the entire day today and most of yesterday. No issues logging onto the American and Asian realms though.

Anyone else?

Have increased international latency for no reason apparently. Affecting gaming.

@dasco144 - I cannot see any issues at the moment that would cause increased latencies.
