MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 2

Anybody else having issues connecting at the moment. Everything was fine until just after 10 and now I can't make a PPPoE connection anymore. The line syncs fine at full speed but no connection.

Yup, same here. Cape Town, southern suburbs.
Diagnostics on the router show ppp server connection is failing.
 
Having some strange issues here as well.
Playstation network signing out now and then. Neflix streaming is horrendous. Browsing slow (well, it goes up and down)
Speedtest.net results are erratic too.
 
if i want to cancel my acc/line and move over to a other isp,how long does it take?

i am not fed up with this k@k, months now,started slow randomly but i was fine with it,then it happen more and more

now even in weekends i only get 50% and browsing is horrible

i phoned mweb they refreshed my acc/line and still nothing

the guy told me youtube will only get 60% of my line,cuz that how its divided,k@k man , i used to get 100+ and play stream good

i even have problems streaming a mp3,

i joint in April was all verry good full speed 24/7 sites that run full now run at 20-50% of the speed

paying full price for half the speed,NO.
 
I'm looking for a new ISP for next month. Looking at this thread it seems MWEB is also having some difficulties...

I assume I PM MWEB Guy for a test account?

Are you still having difficulty connecting? I can't see anything wrong in the Newlands/Claremont area.

I'm sorry you feel this way. We checked on our side and everything seems fine.

Please can you provide me speedtest and other information you might have gathered in order for us to look further into it from our side.

Are you still having difficulty connecting? I can't see anything wrong in the Newlands/Claremont area.

Mine came back at 11pm last night.

When I got up this morning it was gone again, restarted the router and it came right again.

Stayed up so far <touch wood>

My line is completely dead, logged a fault with Telkom online and SMS but no idea if anythings happened that side and 10210 just disconnects so could you maybe have a look for me?
 
Funny my work adsl with mweb is dead too. Think it went down at about 9:50? The other line here is fine with Telkom as the ISP.

Edit: My area is White River, Mpumalanga.

I checked your account and your line is with Telkom. All I will be able to do is view the fault, I can't do anything else with it.
