MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 2

Around 10pm last night all my speeds returned to normal again..

There must have being a glitch in the matrix
 
My Skype is still derping. Seriously, do we at least have a time frame on when this will be sorted?

I can assure you our team is working on it and will feedback all as soon as the investigation has been concluded.
 
I have a theory maybe MWEB Guy so maybe you an look into it. But this also seems to overlap with the whole moving from MSN to Skype since MSN is being "turned off" in April. My MSN drops allot and comes back after a retry but my skype(which uses the old credentials as I haven't moved over) seems to be stable and okay. Maybe guys that are having issues are having it becuase they moved from MSN to Skype? Not trying to tell you how to do anything just highlighting the "concidences" in the last couple of weeks.

I just signed in here to query the Skype issues that have been reported at our Durban and Empangeni offices (calls dropping, status showing offline). When we switch to our backup account (TelkomSA), there are no issues.

Glad to see that others are reporting the same, and I will follow the thread closely for MWEB Guy's feedback!

Thank you for your input. We will keep it in mind with our ongoing investigation.
 
I have been experiencing similar issues - and solved mine this way.
Open Skype,
Click "Tools", "Options", "Advanced", "Connection"
Choose a port you would like to use...
Deselect "Use port 80 and 443 as alternatives for incoming connections."

I would like to throw a rock into the bush here and state it is shaping /throttling going on (Consider the ports I mentioned.. especially 443 SSL.. and MWEBs AUP)

I cancelled yesterday, they told me it will be cancelled by end of March, so I'm sure you can cancel now.

It's a 1 month calendar notice period.

If you send in your cancellation today or the 1st of March, March will be your last month.
 
I duno if its just me but if i play CSGO im getting normal latency but im getting 55 loss and around 40 odd choke...

Just happening today
 
We have uncapped 4mb and it seems to be really slow recently. Only for international sites though.

We do not have any international issues. Please continue to monitor and keep me posted.
 
Skype is still pretty screwed, although even when it shows you offline it still kinda works, but really annoying, calls drop however.

With my 4mb mweb uncapped twitch , youtube and even games like for example GuildWars 2 is lagging. My streams never use to buffer, now it buffers constantly.

Is the below still ok for a 4mb line, since it never use to do the above mentioned.

ADSL Link--------------Downstream------Upstream
Connection Speed-------4096 kbps----------512 kbps
Line Attenuation---------40.0 db------------22.0 db
Noise Margin------------17.3 db-------------14.0 db

Good Morning rolandos, we have no reported international outages at the moment.

Please provide me tracers to bbc.co.uk and another website you may be encountering a problem with. Please also private message me your MWEB account details.
