MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

Morning all, our network in JHB is running at reduced capacity due to Telkom link failures, customers in this region may experience slow speeds and degraded service.
This is currently causing high call volumes and increased hold time in our call centre.
We would like to apologies for any inconvenience caused and we thank you for your patience.
 
If I want to cancel with Mweb, does it cancel immediately, or must I give 1 month notice?

not even 1 month notice, it is a calendar month notice. So if you cancel now, you will have to wait till the end of October before it is cancelled.

did that kill the email by any chance? haven't been able to log in all day, 504 gateway time-outs over and over and over
 
Hi, I have a 2mbps mweb capped account but my line isn't syncing at 2mbps, currently syncing at 1280kbps.
Here are my line stats:

I have recreated your port now, restart your router in 5 minutes and test and let me know if it improved.
 
Has anything been wrong with MWEB lately? My pings in game and browsing at night this past week have had dreadful moments and I know a few people on MWEB that had this issue, not everyone though.

I'v had the same issues with ping. The shaping has also been abysmal, running between 100-200kb\s on a 10mb line at night.
 
Hi Guys, we're not experiencing any general issues at the moment on our network.

If the problem persist please feel to contact us so that a consultant may do some further troubleshooting with you.
 
So I'm close to leaving MWEB after about 5 years cause this has been happening daily now every night. (Slow internet, caused by all that jitter, takes forever to browse and in-game pings or sitting on 200)

Upload Speed: 431 kbps (53.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 93 ms
Jitter: 45 ms

Mweb I am also about to leave you guys after 5 years plus. The problem is the internet will drop, will get slow and so on. Second problem is your price. I am on a 10mbps uncapped account at R299 a month. Now I don't torrent / NZB / FTP at all as I stream everything. When I do download it will be steam games. Now people can say that the R299 account will throttle me after xGB, but it does not, it is as premium as a account can get for what I am using it for. So when are you guys going to make your prices a bit cheaper? R549 a month for a 4mbps uncapped account is a bit up there in these days.
