What makes you say this and what will the IP be needed for?

All you need to do is search find & connect.

Ok we are going in circles. If the device trying to connect does not get an ip it cannot use the network. But anyway that is not my problem then. Just trying to let you know.
 
In other news, the MWEB News server is still dead. Everything works on my side, as I can access other servers.

Upgraded to a 6mb Uncapped account and have been having a terrible time trying to stream Youtube videos and Twitch channels.

Steam downloads have come to a crawl.

I'm not the only one in Durban who's having this problem.

I have reauthed your account allow 30 minutes then restart your router and test.

If it has not improved then provide me with a trace route
 
Did the speculated throttling limits change?

4Mb Premium Uncapped throttles down to 1Mb with 200Gb usage.

Nothing has changed with regards to our limits.
 
After wanting to downgrade and cancel with MWEB and deciding not to do so, you moved my line back to Telkom and now the bill comes and I was charged by both Telkom and MWEB for my line rental, please rectify the issue. I also PM'd you.

I'm currently still in Uncapped prison. I still can't use my MWeb uncapped to download stuff because I'm so close to being throttled.

Now for the first time I think that this suck big time. I have uncapped but I have to wait a few days before I can use it.

I used a lot of data in January from the 7th I think. Now I have to wait a couple of days for my 30day rolling data do decrease. If I don't wait, I'm going to get throttled. And we all know what that means. I'm going to be capped.

Thanks for bringing this matter to my attention.
I will follow up on it and have the relevant persons contact you with feedback.
 
We are experiencing a crazy amount of requests and have run into a shortage of range extenders. But don't worry will deliver your range extender to your door within the coming weeks.

Recieved FON Router today but no extender...
Same note in the package.
 
So I'm on a 1mb uncapped account. After calling Mweb to query about my slow speeds, I get told I'm being throttled.

Because the previous month I downloaded 120gig. Now i get told i can't download anything for 2 to 3 days if i want the throttle removed.
Is this fair?

Nope. It's not fair because we are paying for Uncapped.

Nope. It's not fair because we are paying for Uncapped.

Gents - I would LOVE to come back to MWEB, and I make no bones about it ..... But instead, I am with AH and OW,

The reason is simple - Throttling is absolute bull. :twisted:

Best bet, find an alternate ISP and hopefully, one fine day, sense will prevail or Hershaw will leave, and MWEB will again become the finest ISP, at which time I (and ALOT of others) will return. :)

But for now, vote with your wallet and common sense and get as far away from these THROTTLEMONGERS as possible.
