MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

Hi Mweb Guy,

I am having the exact same problem. My Internet speed and especially P2P are extremely slow. I have been sitting on 0.2 kB/S download speeds for a while and streaming (i.e.: youtube) is extremely slow. I have logged in and it says I am unthrottled.

Whats this about?

I've looked around this forum and been talking to a few people IRL about my mweb adsl problem. The Mweb Guy and I have a long PM going back and forth. It seems the problems I'm experiencing is not limited to mweb.
It would seem that most people are having performance problems due to congested exchanges, which are Telkoms responsibility.
So, my advice if you're an mweb customer, check if your problem is actually an mweb problem before you throw all the blame at mweb. They've been fantastic at trying to resolve my issue, and I understand they are limited because Telkom are infact the problem.

If your Exchange is congested then you'll also have performance issues when using another ISP account. Not the case with me. Blaming it on Telkom is always the easiest way out.
 
That was kinda my point. The people I've spoken to are with multiple ISPs including Telkom themselves.
In all cases its come back to a congested exchange being the problem.
(I am a geek, as are my friends. We all know how to traceroute and what the symptoms of a congested exchange are)
 
Yes you can have you line separate. My line is with Afrihost and I am getting data through Mweb :)

FON router has been crawling along since we got it and still nou Range Extender as Promised. . .
 
How is the gaming side going for D3? I have not seen complaints for the last cople days - I take it things are resolved? :)

We will have to wait and see, I think everyone is jumping on the free BF3 thing now. My Diablo 3 was still working 2 days ago. Had above average ping, but I suspect it was the other people on my network doing stuff...
 
Common MWEB lift my "capped" uncapped account....10kb\s is killing me...and to much effort to jump ship

Evening, tomorrow the 30 day rolling window will exclude the actual data moved on the 29th April and Saturday the 30th.

These were two big days for you.
