Thanks, will do. Besides the speed what are the main disadvantages of going for the home uncapped vs the premium uncapped?

i.e. priorities at certain times...etc.

The only difference on the packages are the thresholds, everything else should work the same.

Will the free Mweb Wifi at N1 City and Canal Walk be affected by the fact that I am an Mweb uncapped DSL customer with the FON router?

For some reason, I was unable to connect using my phone. Other non-mweb guys were able to connect though.

Good Day, you should be able to connect using your MWEB email address and password :)

(One connection at a time)

Just to piggyback on your question for MWEB Guy, when using the FON app or connecting to a FON hotspot should we use the username and password we use to login to the MWEB site or the username and password on the router?

Afternoon, the same would apply.

Email address and password ;)

Morning MWEB Guy

Could you please explain exactly how the MWEB hotspot feature works? And if it can be used abroad?

Someone mentioned accessing wifi at Canal Walk or other shopping centres. What would the process be if a MWEB client wants to connect on their phone? And overseas?

Thanks.

Morning PostmanPot

On the device, mobile, ipad, etc, you need to enable the wifi and search for the @MWEB ssid. You will be prompted for the MWEB username/email and password.

When abroad, if you are a FON subscriber, you can search for a FON signal and login with the MWEB username/email address and password.
