MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

Mweb Guy any Idea on when I will be untrottled,? Cant even watch a Youtube video at 144P on my phone. It's times like these I really miss my 10MB so not used to getting throttled.

Afternoon Wolfy, today the system considers usage from the 16th December to the 15th January. Tomorrow the system will consider usage from the 17th December to the 16th January.

The usage from the 16th to 27th December is high.

If you manage your usage for the next couple of days, the overall usage (rolling window usage) should come down drastically over the next three to four days.

EDIT: the account is now showing that its on a 2Mbps premium though, which has a lower threshold than the 10Mbps standard package.

You know what the thresholds are. Vote with your wallet if you aren't happy, or pay more. Log in daily to My Account to keep track.

I based that two to three days on the 10Mbps standard threshold, could be a bit longer considering the 2Mbps threshold is approximately 50GB less.

I moved recently so I had no choice but to downgrade my line mate. Had nothing to do finances.

Thanks for the quick reply though, appreciate it. Will just have to bite the bullet I guess.

Its always a pleasure, let me know if you need my help.

have a good weekend ;)

There's at least 3GBs in free 1GB accounts from three other ISPs to tide you over.

I'm wondering If I should just like upgrade to 6MB account even though I am on 2MB line to get that 400Gb extra a month... I'll sleep on it..

Well it seems you like to download, and I assume much will be for 'entertainment' purposes, thereby saving on going out for entertainment. Well worth it, IMO.

Those 2 are currently hitting my upload hard. I already have 7 simple q's on my RB. Can't mweb do something about these guys hijacking our ADSL?

Hi, since this is ongoing, I suggest you send a mail to [email protected].

They will hopefully be able to give you advice on how to prevent this

Hi MWEB Guy

What are the chances that the download usage over weekends can come off your Night time data cap instead of the daytime cap? This does make sense if you think about it.

I usually download over weekends, and it's a bit of a pain to see the huge amount of data being used on my daytime cap, where I would prefer it to go off my night time cap.

Morning Drifter, I don't think this would be adjusted.
