MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

I have had a ticket open with your second level engineers, they "escalated" it to vendor as they could not solve the issue themselves .. I am yet to receive any feedback from regarding my tickets opened.
In the meantime I have solved the problem yet they do not come back to me for a follow up.
Down the drain the service goes(went?)

Evening Anthro, sounds like you've had an infuriating experience. Would you like me to highlight it with Internet solutions for you?
 
I've sent the information through to my account manager, which I hope will stay longer at MWEB than the last guy.

Just thought to share my experience here so that others are prewarned about the current shambles

We've sold the full Business division though Anthro and Internet Solutions has taken over.

Hopefully these are just teething issues that will be sorted in the near future.
 
Having a problem with downloads ever since Monday evening. Slow to no speeds using torrents and usenet?

Torrents have been dead in the early evening recently. If you leave them overnight, your downloads should be complete by morning.

And, Usenet also aren't downloading. I've checked my MWeb status, I'm not being throttled or shaped.
 
International gaming was impossibel again last night, no matter what time I tried. Trial account on another ISP worked like a dream. If this carries on will have to figure out how to keep our emails @ MWEB, and move to another ISP for gaming etc.

I had no problems. Perhaps you'd like to create a thread about it, since it seems no one else here is having problems?

Why, I had the same issue last year, and it somehow "got resolved", same issue is back. MWEB techs are looking at logs to see what changed. And it wa snot just me., other guys were having same problems at the same time, different games. Only common denominator is that we all linked via the UK.

There were a few gaming related complaints about 3 weeks ago which I felt too, but nothing since then.

Must be game specific?

Nah, dont bother. Spent enough time and energy with specialists and it cant be resolved. I have countless tickets that were opened and closed. The problem comes and goes, my issue is mostly that trying to game in "business" hours is impossible. After 17:00- 17:30 and over weekends I dont have issues, but last night was very bad for some reason.

Anyways, the game is warcommander, hosted by www.kixeye.com.

I too have been having issues recently in DBN. Browsing of both international and local is extremely flaky for me right at this moment and trying to play Diablo 3 is a bit of a nightmare.

Afternoon bradrap, please provide me your MWEB account details and some more information as to the problem you are encountering.

Does the latency issue with browsing and gaming happen throughout the day or is it specific times you encounter the problem?

Are other games affected?
 
Thanks for your response MWEB Guy, I'll try a quick 20 min session in Diablo 3 to see if the problem still persists, I've just restarted my router to see if that has any effect.
