MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

I have an Mweb uncapped premium 2Mb account with a 4Mb line and I'm starting to get seriously frustrated with it since I'm getting shaped to hell and back. I literally can't download anything whether it be http, ftp, torrent or usenet download speeds are so low its like being back in the 386Kbps days if I'm lucky. My line only ever reaches full speed after 12 till 6 but I only have my scheduled usenet downloads happening then. I'm not staying up to download an update for my phone or download a program I need.

Its ridiculous, only browsing is ok and it isn't even that amazing. Have phoned the call centre and they did a port refresh speed tests show everything is hunky dory, my line seems good. It's this ridiculous shaping that is to blame, and I'm so sick of it.
 
You and me both brother. Their latest shaping protocols have left me without my daily stress relieving online game time in the week. Now I can only on weekends. But Heck, i've only been playing the game for 4 years and have 90+ clan members below me that need my help in game.

I checked the account and everything seems normal.
I ran a test on the line and the attenuation on the line is currently sitting at 56db, this could also be the reason why it's intermittent.
Perhaps have Telkom check it out as it could most likely cause you to have a degraded experience.
Try to test with an alternate router if you can, to rule out the router as a possible cause for the disconnects.
Further more you can also try to bypass the dsl filter to see if the connection is more stable as this can also sometime cause disconnects if it's faulty.

Yes, all is still the same. 1st Time I could connect last night was at 21:45. I tried from 15:45, refreshing connection attempt after every 10 mins or so.
 
I have just cancelled my Mweb 4mb/sec ADSL (thank God( and am using my Vodacom CE 1588 USB stick. I am curently looking at 0.6 kb/sec downloads. What the **** do I have to change on my settings? Newbie..................

Hope that helps. Kixeye say it must be > 1.0Mbps, why am I only getting 0.2376Mbps om mu 10Mbps MWEB line?

This is strange, I have spoken to senior technicians here and gaming is most certainly prioritised
