MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

@saa044, want to explain this to me as I'm terribly confused...

Slots might be the wrong word, but CW did have a article about it in one of their forums. The same happened to us at work on Mweb, very slow connection, but as soon as we changed the ISP account we had a fast connection. 2 weeks later the Telkom tech was here at our work, looked at our connection and then left. 30 minutes later he phoned me and said he put us on a different slot (forgot the word) and mweb was back to full speed.

I am sorry, I did not know I was not allowed to raise my opinion on a company that has offered me bad service. I will remember to in future only make sunshine and roses posts about companies.

My experience with MWEB has sucked. I have found their support to be useless, and my overall view of the company is just that.

I am allowed to raise it here, and let others know about my experience, just as you are allowed to praise them. People can then make up their own minds about who to use.

There is a difference. In a professional manner you would have said you are going to part from x company as you feel the performance they promise and the performance you get is not the same, whereas to blatantly on a public forum called them rubbish. Just saying there are nicer ways to go about things. :)

No, as stating that does not accurately reflect my personal opinion about the company. If I was an ISP, or a Business Person linked to them, then yes, some matter of formality can be put in place. I am however speaking in my personal capacity, and am speaking in a public forum.

My experience with them is relayed without all the fluff to make them look better than what they are.

You have your standard of communicating, I have mine. I will not hold my tongue when a company did not deliver.

We do ask that you not use the "official" feedback threads to highlight such issues, as they are created for the reps to assist with specific problems.

Nothing stops you from creating your own thread to relate your experiences...

Sending mail from the MWEB Message center does not work. Get Internal server error. Can receive mails though.

Experiencing severe lag/latency in both browsing and gaming on MWEB. When I switched to another account it is completely fine. In the Hermanus area.

Hi Drifter, I've re-auth'd your MWEB credentials. Please reboot your router (if you're connecting via MWEB) for 5 minutes and test.

Hi, been experiencing very slow download speeds the past +-30 days. No matter which time of the day, I only get around 250kb/s where my normal download speeds used to be around 450kb/s.

My account has not been throttled, I have tried unplugging and re plugging the router in numerous times all with the same inconvenient result. Please help.

Good Day Michael, please provide me your MWEB account details via private messaging.

Also confirm the type of downloads you are running.

Hey MWEB Guy! I seem to be experiencing intermittent disconnections for the past 2 weeks now, along with very slow international speeds.

Sites like Youtube and Facebook take anything between 5-15 minutes to load and when they do, things do not load properly. Its not my PC since I experience the same problem on my other desktop and laptops.

I've phoned Telkom and am currently waiting for a technician. If you could check things out on MWEB's side I would be most grateful!

Hi Schitzo, I'm picking up a few dropped connections for you on this side as well. I've re-auth'd your MWEB credentials in an attempt to improve performance until the Telkom technician arrives. Please reboot for 5 minutes and test.
