MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

How do you measure your speeds on video streaming sites? Have you already contacted Telkom to recreate your port in an attempt to better your experience?

measuring speeds on a video stream is simple, by setting the quality higher, if it cant supply the demand it will buffer, this is obvious :)

I can ask telkom to do a port recreate however, if I swap to my other line (as I said I have 2x10MB ADSL connections at home) it performs the same and vice versa for the Afrihost account, running fine on both lines.

Seeing as none else is experiencing this, I honestly have no idea whats going on then.

Lets hope it gets better in the coming weeks.

Having weird internet issues, If I try load sites it says "resolving site" for about 30 seconds then loads but the whole process is so slow. If I try a speedtest it is a mission to get to the test part yet once the tests are done, the speeds, etc are fine.

Good Evening, does that happen with all your devices or is it specific to one device?
 
It appears to be a telkom problem, not surprising. My line syncs and then drops then syncs, and so on. At least they picked it up on their side and said they sending a repair team to fix the problem.

A tech specialist phoned again today to check if everything was fine. I told him that, for the last two nights, everything was fine. Thanks for checking back with me.

Hi there. Again having high pings during the night with my Mweb account. On my Telkom account I have 0 issues and ping is low. I'm in Pretoria Area.

Had the same issue about a month or so ago and was an issue with MWEB

Hi nelis it is scheduled for Friday

So tonight my internet works fine except my origin friends list and some other services don't load. On a Telkom account it works 100% but on mweb it doesn't want to work. This has been a big issue.
