MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback

Hi all

My browsing, downloading and streaming is fine, for the last week or so, or lets put it this way since telkom sorted out their cabling

Recently downgraded my line from 4096 (was synching at 2048 because of distance to exchange) - must a say what a pleasure to deal with both Telkom and MWEB, very helpful staff at both ends there.
Was done in about 15 minutes tops... wow ?
Kudo's MWEB and *cough* Telkom for the excellent service !
To be honest the 1MB service is more than adequate for me..

Having a much better time now that i bought a new TP link router. That billion was rubbish

Anyway I see some guys are having issues in BF3 like I had a few weeks back. They can't connect to certain servers as it says they are not from SA. I know you managed to get me sorted in no time so maybe they have the same issue

Still having issues with my line, telkom sent out a guy on sunday to look but the issue still remains.

They going to send out another tech and see that he can do.
 
I seem to be having a problem with uploads for a little while now. cant get above 250kbits most of the time it is 100-150kbits

Downloads are good at 3.5Mbits

when did you issues start and what area are you from?
 
Okay some news, my line is still stuffed 0.15m/bits up and 353 ping.

Telkom on friday night upgrade my local dslam to an Imax dslam and its now got issues......

First off what is an Imax dslam and second how long would it take to fix it ?

I am on a uncapped 4 meg line for mweb and it has been awesome so far.

My line can be according to telkom to a 6 meg line, Which is great and all but I am not willing to pay the extra R 1500 a month to mweb for the 10meg package.

Would I ever get use of the extra 2megs ?

Just reporting back on good service for a change. It's been almost a month since I changed from OpenWeb Gold to MWEB and the connection is fantastic - no problems at all. I actually forget to visit the myBB forums because I've got nothing to complain about :-)

Hi Anniza

You have a data only 4Meg account with MWEB. Your ADSL line is with Telkom.

Best to ask Telkom for feedback regarding your ADSL line.

I am well aware that my line is with telkom, I was hoping that you could answer some of of the questions.

They are busy with the line, and they cant give me a time of when its going to be fixed.

LOL, also my merc is bust so I hope bmw can tell me what's wrong with it?? Haha
