My mweb connection stinks ! :mad:










/continue as normal now that that is off my chest ;) :p
 
I downgraded my 4MB uncapped to 1MB uncapped because I am paying for 4MB but I never ever got it, now I'm paying for 1MB and I barely get it.

By "get it" I mean, acceptable speeds even at hours like 3am or 4am.
When I did web downloads, be it wallpapers or whatever, I never got 400KB/s or close... always under 100 etc.

So... ya! I went down to 1MB.

What exactly are you having trouble with, mail, browsing downloads ?

I was just being generic and sarcastic, but thanks for asking as it's fine and it's being great so far. I have no real concerns at the moment and performance is good :)
 
Getting decent speeds for peak time, plus it starts picking up at about 4:30PM and not the 8 or 9PM previously.
Must say, could not be happier, apart form the Mweb ADSL control panel not updating usage since 1pm yesterday, no complaints

will I be able to play battlefield 3 this weekend MWEB guy?
 
Another day and my connection is slow once again. It's always from early afternoon to about midnight. Everything is just plain slow. Is it Telkom or what? :(

Seem to experience a similar thing where most usage doesn't go above 40 - 50KBps. Streaming Sc2 has been worse lately with it often needing to buffer at 360p. Strangely YouTube works fine and peaks full speed. On 1Mbit MWEB/10Mbit line.
 
hmmm with me too, i just thought MWEB throttled me seeing I abused my account a bit, didnt get an email to say so. But thats what I assumed. I wonder why people are getting such horrible speeds for the last two days
