How weird, I'm with Openweb on DSLHeaven backbone and having the exact same issues as everybody else regarding GMail.

Company uses Google Apps and staff are unable to send or receive email in Outlook.

Lovely. Not just me :)

Gmail is very slow. messages don't send.

Torrents are vvveeerrryyyy slow... not like usual. Loading pages is even slow :/

Hi Guys

Thanks for all the updates.
As will mentioned, we'll post some feedback here as soon as we receive any updates.

Just to clarify we peer with Google and the issue appears to be upstream of our peering links, so I would expect this to be affecting other ISPs in a similar fashion depending on how they route this traffic.

Hi MWeb Guy.

Regarding the Mweb News Server, I can't access it from home but can access it perfectly from work (Both Mweb Accounts)

Any ETA on when the Gmail error will be sorted? I needed to send some urgent mail and like the others mentioned, sending email is a no go.

Hi Guys

We have not received any ETA as yet, but we'll let you know as soon as we know.

Hi

Is it only your torrents that slow?

My torrents are also extremely slow. I have a well seeded torrent (20 000 seeds), that is only going at about 30-40KB/s. This is on a 4Mbps line and 4Mbps account (R539).

Is there a problem on your side, or have you started shaping torrents?

It's only the torrents. I can easily get 3.4Mbps through http downloads.

Hi manbearpig

Torrents are always shaped on shaped accounts.
The speed on torrents are not gauranteed and will fluctuate from day to day.
We always try our best to give as much available bandwidth to torrents when we can.

You also need to know that it receives the lowest priorty on our network and that has always been the case.
It is for this reason that your http downloads are running at near line speeds as it has a higher priority on our network.
